Well, August has shot by and I've managed to hang one more year on the line. Work on the website and publications is moving along although not as quickly as I would have hoped. I think I need an assistant! Waiting on a couple of studio photos and then hopefully I will make some giant leaps forward in the next couple of weeks. I am also working on some exciting new charts for big band and vocal as well as a new series of charts for rock band (with horns and vox, of course)!
I had a great gig today with my old mate, Rob McGowan. It was a mix of jazz, some Chicago and BS&T, with a few of Rob's originals thrown in for good measure! It was a fun afternoon of music making at the Redland Spring Festival. Hopefully we'll get to do it again before too long!
A couple of weeks ago, I was invited to lay down a trumpet track for local band, Wind and Brackets. It was cool to be asked by some past students (thanks Will and Neal!) to come along and be part of their project and find an old high school mate, Magoo, behind the console! I hope the project goes well for them.

Several of my compositions and arrangements for big band are nw ready to be purchased directly from the website. Still a little way to go with getting things sorted, but I am hoping to have a new look website up and running in a few weeks time. A quiet time for gigs at the moment which should give me a chance to make a good run at the site. Stay tuned for more info as it comes to hand...
